Terms and Conditions for MSA University Career Events Services Website

These terms apply to all employers registering on Career Hub, the official career platform managed by the MSA University Alumni Unit.
By registering and using the platform, you confirm your agreement to the following terms.

1. Employer Registration & Approval

  • All companies must register on Career Hub and receive approval from the MSA University Alumni Unit before posting opportunities or accessing candidate profiles.
  • MSA University reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or remove employer accounts based on compliance with these terms

2. Purpose of the Platform

Career Hub is designed to connect approved employers with MSA University students and alumni for:

  • Full-time jobs
  • Part-time jobs
  • Internships

MSA University acts solely as a facilitator and does not participate in hiring decisions or employment agreements.

3. Access to Candidate Information

  • Employers may access candidate profiles only after the student or graduate has applied and consented to share their information.
  • Candidate data must be used exclusively for recruitment purposes.
  • Any use of candidate information outside hiring activities is strictly prohibited.
  • Employers must comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws.

4. Confidentiality of Candidate Data

  • CVs and personal information obtained through Career Hub are confidential.
  • Access must be limited to authorized members of the hiring team.
  • Sharing, selling, or disclosing candidate data to third parties is not allowed.

5. Job Vacancy Submission Standards

All job and internship postings must be:

  • Clear, accurate, and professionally written
  • Include:
    • Job title
    • Company name and logo
    • Job description and qualifications
    • Application instructions

MSA Alumni Unit reserves the right to edit, decline, or remove any posting that does not meet these standards or is not aligned with the university’s values.

6. Recruitment Process Transparency

Employers must:

  • Share clear information about the recruitment process
  • Inform candidates in advance about:
    • Interview stages
    • Assessments or tests
    • Format of evaluations

7. Employer Information Requirements

Employers must provide the MSA Alumni Unit with:

  • Company details
  • Business address
  • Official website/LinkedIn
  • Corporate email address using the company domain
  • A main contact person

Employers are required to keep their recruiter information accurate and up to date.
If the registered recruiter leaves the company or is no longer responsible for recruitment, the employer must update the account details promptly to maintain continued access to Career Hub.

This information is treated as confidential by the MSA Alumni Unit team and will not be shared with candidates unless authorized.

8. Feedback & Reporting Obligations

Participating employers are expected to provide periodic feedback, including:

  • Number of candidates contacted for interviews
  • Number of candidates hired
  • Notification of candidates who fail to attend confirmed interviews or the first working days

This helps maintain professional standards across the platform.

9. Professional Conduct & Candidate Discipline

  • MSA students and alumni are expected to behave professionally.
  • Employers should promptly report:
    • Interview no-shows
    • Failure to join after offer acceptance

The MSA Alumni Unit will handle disciplinary actions internally.

10. Equal Opportunity Commitment

The MSA Alumni Unit follows equal opportunity principles and expects employers to:

  • Avoid discrimination
  • Offer fair and transparent recruitment practices
  • Provide accurate job and company information

11. Intellectual Property

  • All Career Hub content, systems, and materials are the property of MSA University.
  • No content may be copied, reused, or distributed without written permission.

12. Limitation of Responsibility

  • MSA University and the Alumni Unit do not guarantee candidate suitability or hiring outcomes.
  • The university is not responsible for:
    • Employer hiring decisions
    • Employment contracts
    • Workplace conditions

Any matter between an employer and a candidate is handled directly between them, without involvement from MSA University.

13. Suspension or Termination of Employer Access

MSA University reserves the right to suspend or discontinue services to any employer that:

  • Violates these terms
  • Misuses candidate data
  • Fails to maintain professional recruitment practices

14. Updates to Terms

These terms may be updated at any time.
Continued use of Career Hub indicates acceptance of the latest version.
